The middle-eastern girl then told me that if I wanted a non-smoking room, it would cost $20 extra. I told her that I had stayed several times previously and was never charged extra. She thought about it for a moment and said that "the 'policy' had just been changed." ...read more

Traveling as Couple
did not like this hotel at all.
This hotel is very old and need to be refurbished and overhauled to the maximum. Deserves less than a star. Does not meet days inn standards.

The room had a musty smell to it. I called ahead of time to see if DVD players were available so we could watch movies. I was informed the room i was going to get did not have one, but that i could bring my own. So i did, but come to find out the TV was so outdated we could not connect the DVD player. They did accommodate us with another TV. But the whole process took about 2 to 3 hours. Other than that inconvenience, i guess it was OK. We will never stay there again though. the hotel had a weird smell. it didnt feel clean or sanitary. the staff wasn't as courteous as expected.

Business Traveler
Older, no elevator but somewhat clean. Mini breakfast in lobby was good. More fruit. Staff was good. Best AC I have ever experienced. Had to shut it off because it worked too well.

Family with Young Children
This is really a 5star hotel if you don't mind going out to eat or ordering outside room service. It close to eating places and shopping places as well as a movie theater and a WalMart.
